While some parents are able to be at home with their child more often, some parents may need to find a daycare near work. This is not a bad thing at all. When children are surrounded by other children, studies have shown them to practice more advanced social skills than are children who are not exposed to other children as early. These children have proven to be more advanced in the areas of speech, language, empathy, social skills, and all-around cognition. Mentally, they will grow faster.
